Phase 3

Phase 3: Maintenance-

In this phase you will come off either 21 or 40 days on the VLCD (Very Low Calorie Diet) of 500 calories. The crucial thing about this phase is that you MUST continue to follow the 500 calorie protocol for 72 hours after your last day on Phase 2.

Even if you quit the diet early, you will still need to stop taking the drops and maintain 500 calories for another 72 hours. If you do not it, it can result in unwanted weight gain.

This phase is by far the most important. It is where you begin to lock in the weight youve lost and reset your metabolism. It is crucial that you follow this protocol so that your new body will be maintained.

Phase 3 consists of 3 weeks of eating full portions up to 2000 calories a day. Do NOT eat starches and sugars. You are allowed to begin working out again for this phase.

The weight is easy to lose in Phase 2, but maintaining requires discipline and motivation to stay at what you have attained. During this phase you should not gain, or lose more than 2 pounds above or beyond your last weigh in documented on your last dosage on Phase 2.

Be very aware of your weight each morning and monitor your loss or gain. If you gain too quickly you need to follow the instructions in your provided manual that you receive with your purchase.

You will want to begin to incorporate healthy fats like olive oil and avocados into your diet after a week on Phase 3.
